UU Chair

The UU chair is named after its design, which consists of two gently curved U-shaped frames stacked on top of each other; one ‘U’ flowing into the back legs and the other ‘U' into the front. The UU chair is the successor to the U chair, which consists only of a U-shaped back. Adding arms to the U Chair gives the UU chair an enhanced armrest function and a lovely angular appeal. The chair looks voluminous, but from the side it has a slender, delicate form and does not give the impression of being heavy. Great comfort can be enjoyed thanks to the backrest that is angled and cut at an angle to increase the cross-sectional area so that it does not feel stiff when you lean against it. The smooth texture of the solid wood is soothing, and the chair is finished in a way that allows you to rest your body in a relaxed manner. The arms and front legs are carefully joined with finger joints to create strength. The angled joints have a large rounded edge to avoid feeling angled when the arms are placed on them. When stored under the table, the round part of the backrest is semi-circular and looks very beautiful when it is out of the table, combined with the table surface. The square timber stretches from the legs to the back, and the rounded U-shaped backrest gives a soft touch to this otherwise hard look, creating a truly well-balanced design.
