Crafted with meticulous care by the Miyazaki Chair Factory, the Modus Dining Side chair embodies the timeless elegance of mid-century design while meeting the demands of modern living. Designed by Kristian Vedel in the 1960s, and rethought in 2024 by the Miyazaki Chair Factory, this chair is a seamless blend of form, function, and comfort. The modus series is a stunning interpretation of Kristian Vedel’s original design philosophy. Inspired by the wave-like patterns he loved to sketch, Vedel infused the Modus series with a sense of movement and dynamism, translating his playful lines into the gently flowing curves of the modus series. Designed to fit seamlessly around any dining table, its compact yet comfortable proportions reflect Vedel’s philosophy of creating furniture with dimensions that are “just enough” for its purpose. The carefully crafted wooden frame highlights Miyazaki’s woodworking skills, while the generously cushioned backrest and seat provide comfort. Perfectly suited for dining spaces, the Modus Dining Side brings a sense of warmth, luxury, and timeless sophistication to any setting.
