Design: Keishi Yoshinaga
Yoshinaga Keishi drawed this chair from the idea to create a slightly small and beautiful armchair. The naming stems from its design. Hata is the Japanese word for flag or kite. So the name originates from the line from arm to back which looks like the fluttered flags of a kite. The back is carefully carved from solid wood so one can enjoy the natural shade and grain. The main concept is a beautiful armchair, modest in size but well-balanced to have a beautiful size for the dining room, yet graceful, harmonious and ergonomically.
