Duet Leathers
A new type of leather that can be used on both sides, nubuck and suede. The nubuck is durable and has a velvety look and feel. Due to its good breathability it feels wonderful on the skin and is comfortable to sit on when used for a chair or sofa. You may find natural markings on the leather surface, such as pores,scratches and wrinkles. They were made when the cows were alive. Please accept themas a proof of uniqueness of genuine leather. Like other natural leather you can enjoy the aging process. Overtime the leather becomes softer and lustrous which add its unique character. Aniline leather might have visible scars ans pores because it is a natural product. We only use high-quality hides that have passed our stringent selection process. Therefore,we do not accept claims for scars,stains,spots,pores and uneven coloration. We appreciate your understanding. If you care for the leather it will become even more beautiful after time. By using the natural luster of the leather will increase. ROUTINE CARE METHODFor daily cleaning,vacuum-clean with a soft brush mouthpiece at a low suction in order to remove any dust particles once or twice a month. For thorough cleaning ( if desired , once or twice a year)use the foam from soap flakes stirred in warm water. Apply the foam with a dry soft cloth, minimizing any contact with water. The cleaning has to be done at your own risk.
WHEN THE LEATHER GETS WET OR DIRTYThere is no protective coating layer on the leather surface so if moisture or oil adheres, it will stain easily. If you spill liquid such as water or wine, immediately wipe it off with a dry soft cloth to absorb the moisture. Please do NOT rub it. After a quick gentle wipe, allow it to dry and then gently brush it with a nubuck brush. NEVER use water, soap or leather cream as they increase the risk of creating blotches. It's preferable to leave light stains to be absorbed and let it become a part of the unique character of your leather rather than trying to remove it. WARNING
Avoid any chemical products such as bar soap, saddle soap, leather cleaners , household detergents or chemical products.. Avoid soaking or any contact with water as this is the worst enemy of the leather. Protect the leather from direct sunlight or excessive heat ( stove etc.)to prevent the leather discoloration ,cracking and drying. Avoid contact with sharp objects. Keep away the leather from places with high humidity to prevent mold on the leather
