Azuki
Design: Yoshinaga Keishi
The Azuki chair is characterized by its shape, there is a sense of tension where the back legs are bent toward the backrest. This particular bend is visible from every point of view and gives the chair its individuality. The backrest is extremely thin, allowing the ends of the bars to slide inside it. The chair consists of a minimal number of parts and where possible the wood was shaved thin. The dynamic grain of the wood emerges from the curved plank surface and rounded frame. Because the Azuki is not upholstered, the chair is extremely light, making it easy to handle and transport for daily use. This chair can be delivered with a separate cushion. The seat of the cushion is made of a non-slip material so that the cushion will not slip and can be used comfortably.
